What is the Flexibility Model?

In keeping with our goal to always provide your children the highest quality and most innovative care with each child we see, our mindful intent is that what we do in therapy will be generalized in the outside world. We consider CEPT to be a fun, safe and compassionate place for your child to practice everyday life skills. Every child will primarily work with a specific therapist, but have the opportunity to work with other therapists. By doing this, we hope to promote flexibility in transitions and the ability to accept changes in routine and expectations in our children. In addition, your child will have the benefit of having a collaborative treatment team identifying different skill sets and ways to attain their goals. Parents have witnessed strong carryover of this learned flexibility into other environments, specifically at school and in other therapies. Our clinic owners, Kate and Joe Lundgren, have also experienced first-hand the change that flexibility training has brought to their own children. As always, you are welcome to contact Kate or Joe, should you have questions or concerns.
