I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Kate Lundgren, owner of Cutting Edge Pediatric Therapy – Allen, for the time and care she invested in guiding our family. We first visited the facility to enroll our child in speech therapy, and later added occupational therapy as well. During this process, we had the opportunity to meet with Kate to discuss how the Cutting Edge team could support our child’s progress. She took the time to walk us through the methodology, approach, and processes they use to help children grow and succeed. What stood out most during our conversation was Kate’s passion and commitment. She shared why she started this business, what she observes happening across the industry, and her vision of making Cutting Edge truly different from other therapy providers by focusing on holistic support for families. After we shared our story, Kate asked several thoughtful questions to better understand our situation and ensure we had everything in place to support our child. Through that discussion, we realized there were important areas we had not previously considered. One of the most significant topics she brought to our attention was establishing guardianship and the potential challenges families may face if it is not set up correctly. Kate kindly provided a few references and explained the guardianship process so we could better understand its importance. After doing our own research, we realized how critical this step is for families like ours—and how many people are simply not aware of it. Because of Kate’s guidance, we were able to start the process, and we are now well on our way to establishing guardianship for our child. If we had not had this conversation with Kate, we may have overlooked something that is incredibly important for our child’s future. We are truly grateful that she took the time to share this knowledge with us. The value of that guidance cannot be overstated. My son has received OT and Speech here for about 8 years. He has developed and mastered life and communication skills thanks to the extremely kind and well trained staff. We have adored every therapist he has been with. They have always advised my husband and I on ways to help him at home as well. We have been successful with their guidance and patience. My son is graduating high school and I know we would not be where we are today without them.

My daughter who has an extremely rare diseases has been going to Cutting Edge for OT, PT & Speech therapy for over 2 years now. We love the staff and adore all the therapists. They are wonderful with my daughter and my only complaint is that they need to hire more therapists because the facility is world class.

The therapists that he’s seen so far are amazing and caring. He is always in a great mood after his sessions are over. Top tier services for children on the spectrum. My daughter has been in speech therapy & we have had a great experience. The front desk ladies are kind, respectful, & connects with parents and children on a personal level. Her therapists are well-educated, but, also great educators. They teach parents as well! Highly recommended!

My wife and I brought our son to cutting edge for OT and ST from another clinic and couldn’t be more impressed! Cutting Edge is addressing my son’s needs in a more appropriate manner and even proving that our previous clinic had improperly evaluated our son! He has been speaking so much more and even responding to us in ways we can’t believe! My son has been going to Cutting Edge for some years now and during this time we have not had any issues. Staff is very helpful and friendly! All therapists are amazing and very supportive and patient with all the kiddos. I try to thank those who work with my son often because it takes special people to care and treat in this field. This place and staff have truly been one of the biggest blessings for my daughter. She has been here for four years for all outpatient therapies and two years of ABA. She is only five and we plan to stay as she needs. She is happy, thriving and in great hands. I would highly recommend them for all services as my daughter literally using all of them. Everyone is helpful, kind, professional and truly cares.

Good experiences with OT,PT.ST and counseling services. Very friendly staff and they are ready to work towards goals aligned with the child’s needs rather than only standard practice. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff and professionals there!

My sweet Mason has been going here for a few months. He started when he was 5 months old in the physical therapy department. I didn’t know what to expect since he is the only 1 out of my 5 who has ever needed physical therapy. But let me just tell you, they are so hands on and loving. My little Masy loves all the staff here and they are so attentive to each child needs. I can’t tell you how many times we would be waiting in the waiting room for our appt and a child who is just having a bad day walks in and is fully ready to just burst starts to pace around the room. The staff instantly get into action in the most sweetest and loving way. They help that beautiful child know that they are ok to express themselves anyway they feel because they are safe. They really walk through the emotions with them. Next thing you know that child is not even upset anymore. Then there is our PT therapist. She is incredible! I had so many fears that my son wasn’t hitting his milestones and she reassured me every time that he was right on track. Now he is hitting above his age range track and is thriving. The day we have to graduate from physical therapy is the day I’m actually going to be sad because they have watched my son grow and thrive. Plus it’s such a fun atmosphere and the staff always have the very best attitude. Idk I’m just very grateful for what they have done for our family!

Our son, who is autistic and nonverbal, has made incredible progress here. My daughter just started speech therapy but the experience overall has been professional and they truly adapt to my child’s needs. From the evaluation, to scheduling and so much more. Every staff member I’ve come across have always been professional and strongly knowledgeable in answering any questions I have. Our son has attended Cutting edge Pediatrics for the past two years and the experience has been incredibly valuable for his progression with managing social skills. The relationship that he has with his therapist, Mr. Mahlon is incredible. My daughter has been attending Cutting Edge since she was 13 months for her outpatient therapies and past six months for also their ABA program . She is now 4. I was so nervous transitioning her from ECI originally and best move I made. The staff here is wonderful, caring, professional and trustworthy. My daughter has dual needs and nonverbal so it means the world to me more she is cared for, patient with her, take time to understand her and she is happy which she is and because of the staff. From the reception to all therapists in all her years they greet her, play with her, know her. Plus she has made tremendous progress! They helped me obtain her AAC and support her with it. I will cry if she ever leaves so that speaks to how much I appreciate this staff and all their work. It is also clean and very kid friendly atmosphere which I appreciate. Mrs Natalie has been with my daughter on her journey here since 13 months and amazing therapist and person. Thank you for all you do for my daughter! 💯 recommend them. Our transition to ABA was also a great experience from one program to here I was nervous on regressing or goal’s changing abruptly , but Vanessa coordinated with her other program and smooth. She has gained so much in ABA and greets me with a smile at pick up so I know she is happy and gaining so much.

Our son has been receiving services with Cutting Edge for many years. The Therapists are all very knowledgeable, confident, patient and kind. They are understanding and always accepting our input with our son’s goals and progress.

I have had at least one child in therapies at Cutting Edge for nearly a decade now. Both of my children have autism and have greatly benefited from their time there. The attention to detail, patience, and level of care are second to none. I drive by several other therapy clinics on our way to Cutting Edge because I believe it is the place where they are best served. My children look forward to going and I’m so thankful an OT at ANOTHER clinic recommended them to me many years ago!
