Vickie received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University in 2010 and her Master of Science in Family and Child Studies from Texas State University in 2012. She graduated with her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2015. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Texas Occupational Therapy Association, and Pi Theta Epsilon Occupational Therapy Honor Society. As a graduate research assistant, Vickie presented a research poster at the 2015 Texas Woman’s University Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium. In collaboration with faculty from the college of nursing and school of occupational therapy at TWU, she led a workshop regarding the application of telehealth in occupational therapy at the 2015 Texas Occupational Therapy Association Mountain Central Conference. Vickie is trained in Listening Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Interactive Metronome, NDT Pediatric Facilitation Techniques, Handwriting Without Tears, and Kinesiotaping. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS). She is excited to be a part of the Cutting Edge team and to have the opportunity to work with families in Houston and Katy.
