Sydney R.

Physical Therapy Assistant, PT-A

Sydney is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Texas A&M University where she studied Kinesiology with a concentration in Dance science. She then went on to earn her PTA degree from Blinn College. Sydney has experience working as a dance teacher, which first sparked her interest in pediatrics. During her pediatric clinical rotation as a PTA student, her passion for working with children was confirmed and she knew she wanted to be part of helping them grow, develop, and reach their goals. She approaches each patient with patience, empathy, and a calm, encouraging presence, and especially enjoys involving families in the therapy process. Sydney loves working with children because they bring so much joy to each day. She feels privileged to play even a small role during such an important time in their lives as they grown, learn, build confidence, and discover who they are. In her free time, Sydney enjoys reading books, baking sweets, taking Pilates and Barre classes, spending time with her family, friends, and fiancé, Cade, whom she met in college. Sydney is so excited to begin this journey with her patients and hopes to be a positive light in each child’s life!
