Shelby has been a Registered Behavior Technician since June 2020. She has worked with CEPT for 2 years and is excited to see what this year will bring. Shelby graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Sociology.
She loves working with children and young adults, and seeing things from their perspective. Shelby has family members on the spectrum and understands the difference ABA makes in their lives. Not only for them but the families as well. Helping others in any way she can makes her heart happy.
In high school she was on the first ever youth advisory council for the Providence House in Shreveport and helped create Sleepout 4 Independence. It is to help raise awareness for homeless families and give the experience of what it feels like to sleep outside in the elements, while getting to build your own cardboard house.
Shelby has a fur baby named Luna, she’s a Mini Australian Shepherd. Some things she enjoys are reading, painting, being outdoors, and going fishing.
