Madalyn E.

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

Madalyn graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Pre-Counseling minor. While pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degree, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). As an RBT, Madalyn worked with children, adolescents, and adults with autism, intellectual/developmental differences, and cooccurring mental health disorders. As she began to learn more about human behavior and mental health, Madalyn decided to follow her passion for helping people and take steps to become a counselor. She graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. During her graduate experience, she worked in a university counseling center and a nonprofit organization. Madalyn has worked with adolescents and adults across the lifespan in individual and group settings. Madalyn believes that creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for clients to share their thoughts, feelings, and actions allows for clients to achieve the meaningful change they desire. Everyone deserves a space where they can feel heard and supported on their healing journey.
