Kaitlyn (“Kaydee”) Arnold graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Advocacy. She continued with her education at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana to pursue a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her undergraduate years in Monroe, Louisiana she fell in love with pediatric therapy while working as a tech at a local clinic. During her time in New Orleans, she participated in research with both the adult and pediatric population. Her pediatric research consisted of analyzing the effects of co-treatment with speech language pathologists and occupational therapists via Telehealth for children with autism. She continued learning about the pediatric population by participating in an Interprofessional Program for Related Services within the New Orleans school systems. During this program, she learned about legislation and laws that aid individuals in receiving related services within the public school system as well as learning about different services that children can receive to enhance their education. Kaydee completed her Level II pediatric fieldwork at a Sensory Integration clinic in Covington, Louisiana where she was able to work hands on with pediatric clients for 3 months. During this time she solidified her love for helping children gain independence, collaborating with families, and having fun while doing so!
Kaydee is beyond excited to work alongside the staff at Cutting Edge to help our kids reach their best potential!
