Katie Baich

Speech-Language Pathologist, CFY-SLP

Katie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a second degree in Linguistics, with a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Following her undergraduate studies, she moved to Texas to attend graduate school at Texas Christian University (TCU), where she earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2024. Katie began her professional career at Cutting Edge in 2024 as a Clinical Fellow. She has experience in early childhood intervention, Down syndrome, receptive and expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, autism, and fluency disorders. Her journey in this field began in high school when she started volunteering with the Special Olympics organization. This experience ignited her passion for working with the pediatric population, particularly those with developmental disabilities. Katie is dedicated to building strong relationships with her clients and their families, ensuring that therapy is both effective and fun by incorporating familiar objects and activities. She is excited to help her clients reach their full potential and achieve their personal goals.
