Karagan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Dance Science and a minor in Psychology. She then earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Karagan first discovered her passion for pediatrics while working as a dance teacher, where she loved helping children build confidence, develop new skills, and express themselves through movement. She was inspired to pursue occupational therapy after witnessing the positive impact it had on her grandmother’s quality of life during a hospital stay. Seeing firsthand how meaningful, personalized care could help someone regain independence solidified her desire to become an occupational therapist. Karagan’s favorite part of working in pediatrics is building meaningful relationships with each child and creating individualized treatment sessions that help them reach their goals while having fun. She enjoys incorporating creativity through art, painting, movement, and hands-on activities to make therapy engaging and meaningful. Karagan is passionate about helping children build confidence, gain independence, and celebrate every milestone alongside their families!
