Kara Parr

Registered Occupational Therapist, OTR

Kara received both her Bachelor of Science in Child Development (2019) and Master of Occupational Therapy (2021) from Texas Woman’s University. Kara’s mother is an elementary teacher, which inspired her to pursue pediatrics early on. Kara has various experiences working with the pediatric population, from working at achievement centers to completing her fieldwork placements. She completed her Level II fieldwork in a pediatric outpatient clinic in Central Texas, where she worked directly with children of various ages to foster independence in everyday tasks. In addition, Kara was able to facilitate aquatic therapy sessions with various clients. During her time at this clinic, she developed a multi-disciplinary aquatic therapy activity set to address various skills. Serving children and their families is Kara’s passion and she is excited to become a part of the Cutting Edge community!
