Josey earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. Her experiences in graduate school and in the school system have helped her discover a passion for working with children and supporting their communication development. Josey takes a child-led, family-centered, and collaborative approach, creating therapy that is engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s interests and needs. She believes that children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and excited to participate in therapy. Her favorite part of being an SLP is watching children gain new skills, build confidence, and find their voice so they can express themselves and connect with the world around them.
