Alyssa Brazell graduated from Stephen F. Austin in December 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services. She graduated with her doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University (Denton) in 2023. Alyssa has always had a passion for working with the pediatric population and is dedicated to helping the families she serves become stronger advocates for themselves. In fact, advocacy and education were huge components of her doctoral capstone project at TWU. She developed an educational website for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities and special needs. This website provides information on what to expect in the special education system, information on important laws, and information regarding financial and support resources. She is ecstatic to begin her career as an occupational therapist at Cutting Edge, and can’t wait to continue to learn and grow as a clinician.
