Occupational Therapists

Vickie Liang – Registered Lead Occupational Therapist, OTR

Vickie received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University in 2010 and her Master of Science in Family and Child Studies from Texas State University in 2012. She graduated with her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2015. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Texas Occupational Therapy Association, and Pi Theta Epsilon Occupational Therapy Honor Society. As a graduate research assistant, Vickie presented a research poster at the 2015 Texas Woman’s University Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium. In collaboration with faculty from the college of nursing and school of occupational therapy at TWU, she led a workshop regarding the application of telehealth in occupational therapy at the 2015 Texas Occupational Therapy Association Mountain Central Conference. Vickie is trained in Listening Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Interactive Metronome, NDT Pediatric Facilitation Techniques, Handwriting Without Tears, and Kinesiotaping. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS). She is excited to be a part of the Cutting Edge team and to have the opportunity to work with families in Houston and Katy.

 Zoobia Qureshe – Registered Occupational Therapist, OTR

Zoobia graduated from the University of Houston in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Health. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree in 2015 from Texas Woman’s University. She was a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Texas Occupational Therapy Association. She is proud to have chosen Occupational Therapy as her career path. It is a profession that requires compassion, understanding, and sensitivity; all of the characteristics that she values tremendously. She is so excited to be a member of the Cutting Edge Pediatric Therapy team!

Favorite movie: Lion King is my favorite but pretty much LOVE all Disney movies.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants

Jessica Fernandez- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA

Jessica graduated from Panola College in 2019 with an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant in May of  2019. As a student  she was elected to serve as  the President of the Students of Occupational Therapy Assistant (SOTA) club for one year.  Jessica experienced a variety of settings during her clinicals such as Adults Outpatient, Pediatric Outpatient, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adult Home Health, and Hippotherapy. Jessica is extremely excited to join the CEPT team and begin her dream career.

Favorite movie: I LOVE romantic comedies-Sweet Home Alabama and How to lose a guy in 10 days are my favorite. But I also LOVE my Disney movies!!

 Vanessa Galicia– Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA

Vanessa graduated from PIMA Medical institute March of 2018 with an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. While in school, she was an active member of SOTA (Students of Occupational Therapy Association) and completed many community outreaches with Rebuilding Houston. Throughout her schooling experience, she completed rotations in psych, SNF’s, orthotics clinics, and sensory integration clinics. She has experience working with children from birth to 17 years of age with a range of diagnosis consisting of ASD, SPD, chromosome abnormalities, developmental delays, learning disabilities, alexia/dyslexia, torticollis, TBI’s, and corpus callosum injuries. She has working experience in home health and out-patient clinics while co-treating with ABA, ST, PT, and RN’s.  Vanessa is truly excited to be a part of the CEPT family and ready to continue making differences in the field of her dreams.

Favorite movie: Hocus Pocus and any good horror movies

Fun Fact: I can’t stop adopting dogs. I recently adopted two Pitbull’s and I have one feisty husky who talks my ear off. I have a 6 year old sweet little boy and a 3 year old step daughter. It’s their world, I just live in it to spoil them!

Comfort Orji– Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA

I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. I received a second Bachelor’s degree of science in Communication science from Utah State University. I became a speech therapy assistant in the state of Texas and practiced for a couple of years in a pediatric home health setting. After careful consideration, I decided to further my education and pursue a career in occupational therapy assistant because I have a strong compassion for working with children with special needs. I graduated with an associate in science in occupational therapy assistant program in 2019 from St. Catherine’s University. During my fieldwork experience, I got a chance to work in a variety of settings such as an outpatient pediatric clinic working with children and a skilled nursing facility working with older adults. I am a current member of American Occupational Therapy Association.

Favorite movie: The Notebook.

Fun Fact: One of my favorite hobbies is working out to Beachbody (ShaunT workouts at least 5 x a week).

Physical Therapy

Lizzy Lundin – Physical Therapist, PT

Lizzy is a licensed physical therapist and has been practicing since 2012. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For the last seven years, Lizzy has worked with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in outpatient, home health, and hospital settings. Lizzy is excited to venture into a new pediatric setting and to join the CEPT team.

Fun Fact: I love experimenting/baking healthy desserts and going to the YMCA with my family.

Physical Therapy Assistant

Carrie Hanaoka-Jarrett – Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA

Carrie is a licensed physical therapist assistant and has been practicing since 2010 after receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and her PTA degree from St. Philips College in San Antonio. While in school, Carrie received valuable clinical experience in skilled nursing, outpatient and home health settings with a variety of patient demographics including adult and pediatrics. For the last four years, Carrie has been working with the pediatric population in the home health setting. She has gained valuable knowledge and experience with a variety of developmentally and medically fragile children. Carrie is eager to return to a clinical setting to expand her knowledge and skill set, while also pursuing continued education relevant to her work with Cutting Edge.

Favorite Movie: I am a sucker for any romantic comedy, but also love a good horror film. My husband and I had our first official date watching The Descent many years ago.

Hometown: I am a southern California girl born and raised, but moved to the Katy area for high school where I graduated as a proud Cinco Ranch Cougar.

Fun Fact: I have 2 amazing little boys, 7 and almost 4. We have fun roughhousing, playing sports, and spending time outside getting dirty, but also love to chill at home with snacks and any Disney movie… because who doesn’t?!

Jennifer Herbert – Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

Jennifer graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication Disorders in 1997. In 1999, she received a Masters of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. Jennifer is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in both Texas and Louisiana. Additionally, she is a Certified (CCC-SLP) member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Jennifer has over 11 years of experience working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in both schools and outpatient settings. Her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist has been dedicated to working with the pediatric population. She has provided assessments and therapy to both pre-school and school-aged children. Jennifer has treated many types of communication disorders including the following: expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, articulation, apraxia of speech and fluency. She has worked with children with diagnoses of Autism, Developmental Delays and Down Syndrome. Jennifer enjoys furthering her knowledge by completing continuing education in a variety of areas of interest relating to the field of Speech-Language Pathology. She currently resides in Katy, Texas.

Noori Mulji- Speech-Language Pathologist, SLP

Noori graduated in 2011 from Baylor University with a BA degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After working several years in the home health field as an SLP Assistant, she attended graduate school at Eastern New Mexico University and earned her MS degree in 2017 for Speech-Language Pathology. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2018 and is an ASHA member.

Noori has experience treating and evaluating pediatric patients in a variety of settings including home health, clinics, and preschool with a focus on language delay, articulation, and functional communication skills. She has experience providing therapy to patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders. Noori enjoys collaborating with families and other therapists to truly understand and use a team approach in addressing each patient’s individual needs.

Fun Fact: I love to paint on my free time! Also I’m obsessed with The Little Mermaid and have a collection of Little Mermaid memorabilia.

Administrative Staff


Raven Morris – Office Manager

Raven Morris earned her Bachelor of Science degree from The College of Healthcare Professions, specializing in Healthcare Management in 2016. Raven has worked in the Healthcare field since 2012, in various positions and specialties in medicine. She has had the privilege of working alongside some of the best Physicians in the world at TIRR Memorial Hermann, helping with the coordination of PT and OT ranging from small children to adults. Raven is super excited to join the Cutting Edge family and begin her journey in leadership with the company! In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and son, and working on formulating her own line of skincare products to launch soon.

Favorite Movie: Anything Horror! I make my husband watch 80’s horror flicks all the time with me so I won’t be scared.

Fun Fact: I am a very talented singer. When I was 16 years old, I performed every weekend for a local restaurant singing old classic tunes.

Joe Gomez – Office Coordinator

Joe Gomez is a new Office Coordinator and has been in the industry of rehabilitation since 2018. He is very passionate about helping people and loves to see the patients progress and how everyone grows stronger and stronger everyday. He was born and raised in Houston, TX and is a huge fan of all hometown teams especially The Astros! One of his favorite snacks is Hot Cheetos and loves the movie Grease. He is very proud to say he is a part of the awesome CEPT team and excited to learn and grow into the Cutting Edge community.
