In our industry, the new year means insurance, insurance, insurance. If you’ve been with us for a while you know that we always talk about insurance at this time of year! Since we’re all dealing with that right now, we wanted to give you three tips for dealing with your insurance when it comes to your occupational, physical, or speech therapy.
1. New Year, New Deductible.
Unfortunately for most people, the new year means a new deductible. Plan ahead for this so that you’re not caught off guard for your next appointment.
2. Review Your Plan.
This is a great time for you to review your plan with your insurance agent. Plans change—it’s a good idea to take a look to see if there have been any changes to your deductible or coverage. Again, you don’t want to be caught off guard by any changes you did not anticipate!
3. Remember to Update.
Do you have new information? Make sure you get that to us! Credit cards often expire at this time of year, so make sure we have your updated information. Do you have a new insurance benefits card? Please get that to us too, so that we can update your file.
If you have any questions or issues with your insurance we are always happy to help you navigate that process! We’ve been through it ourselves, and we can help you find the best ways to get the most out of your benefits.
We look forward to seeing you and your kiddo in!
